Word Puzzles
Olive really enjoys these word puzzles. They were easy to make by cutting up picture cards with words. This activity helps her identify the spelling of the word with the picture. You can click here, here, and here to find three letter words and their pictures. You can play a memory match-up, or cut them to make a word puzzle.
Jem enjoyed using chop sticks to move the pom-poms.

Jem really likes going to school with Olive, doesn't she. Noticed she is using her left hand for the chopsticks. Wonder if she will always be left-handed. Love
What a great idea! It never occured to me to cut pictures up for an activity like this. Thanks for the tip--I think I'll add this activity to our fall theme.
We have some store bought puzzles like that, but I love the idea of making your own. I'll have to do that. Thanks.
