It really works!!!! My quest is over for a perfect laundry soap recipe...for less than 2 cents a load...I'm sold.
I have been using this recipe since March and just today I am making a new batch. It cleans well and it has a fresh scent. My friend adds Pyrex crystals to her recipe for more scent.
Here's the laundry soap recipe:
1 box of borax
1 box of super washing soda
1 4lb box of baking soda or 1/2 big bag
1 small container of oxy clean
3 bars Feld-naphtha soap grated
1 big container to mix in- I mix it up in thirds so it combines well. I use the oxy scoop to add it to my laundry. 2 scoops per load does the job.
Let me know what you think.

Apple Pie Perfection
Is your mouth watering......I love to bake, but I have never been a great pie baker, until now! I was digging around in my recipes box, or should I say pile of unorganized paper, when I found this wonderful recipe. My favorite farmer at the farmer's market blessed us with this crate of apples. He just gave them to us because he loves hearing all the yummy things we make with his harvest, how amazing is that!
Ingredients for Grandma's Perfect Apple Pie
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work of crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees. Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!
