Since our weather here as been better than GREAT we are making beach bags. You can buy some cheap light weight canvas bags from any craft store and use fabric paint to decorate. They do take all day to dry so just be aware of that before you use them.
Enjoy your day!

Recycled Paint Trays
My girls can paint for hours, but they get upset when paint runs together. The solution to this problem came while baking Manicotti last week....I know, you're thinking where is this going! The pasta tubes came in these neat plastic trays, which are just perfect for keeping each paint color separated until they are ready to be mixed into a work of art.
So be sure to save your plastic trays from pasta, crackers, and cookies...they sure recycle well as paint trays.

The best present
Olive loves to craft and received this adorable paint your own jewelery box for her birthday. She has a nice assortment of princess jewels that she is always looking to hide from her little sister and I think this box may do the trick. After the box dried she added bright pink feathers to make it extra fancy.
