Finally Learned To Crochet

So this is my third time trying to teach myself how to crochet. I actually made something this time and it's pretty easy if you stick to the basics. I learned by watching videos on U-Tube and checking out Just Like June's site, thanks for the help.
Do keep in mind that I was trying to make a hat for the new baby, but I am glad that Olive can enjoy it. She actually has worn it everyday since I gave it to her.

  1. Great work! I learned to crochet when I was about 5,so I'm crocheting about 30 years now and I still make mistakes when it comes to sizes,so don't bother, just make a new one!And keep crocheting!

  2. It looks great Karen and yes, I agree with the above! I have all of my sizes meticulously written with how many stitches in the round for each size and because I'm arthritic, I still get things wrong all the time! :-)

  3. You did a really good job and that's neat that Olive loves hers so much. Good luck with making one for the baby!

  4. Adorable! My oldest wants me to make her a hat. I just might have to try now that I see how cute Olive looks.

I love your comments; they make my day, especially when you find an old sippy cup under the bed!
